| Posted 8 months ago Sex on the beach sounds like a party to me?
Where do they get these names? When we were growing up they had the simple names and the bartenders did not have to get a college degree to do this job?

| Posted 8 months ago Whatever happened to the normal beer, wine, scotch & water, gin & tonic?? Anything with one of these names that requires a bartender to "know" how to fix is too elaborate and usually doesn't taste good to me because of it. Why do shots?? Wouldn't you really rather reslish the taste of a good single malt aged scotch or a tasty glass of red? Rosemary friend me on Facebook or LinkedIn and follow me on Twitter |

| Posted 8 months ago do you know what a mexican snowshoe is take a shot of tequilla and a shot of schnapps. I prefer peach or peppermint shake this over ice and start to sip. Hmmm hm good. I also call it a two weeker. you do not want many of these as they are quite tastey. The schnapps kills the tequilla taste and odor.It is a potent drink. Lori is that also called a screaming orgasim buttery nipple dirty girlscout red headed slut fuzzy yellow balls The time is now to grow and learn as much as possible. | Posted 8 months ago Think most of us missed out James like I say where did all these drinks come from who thinks them up and who remembers them to make them again and how are they passed along? Talk about networking? "Thoughts are things what you think about most you become." |

| Posted 8 months ago I had to come back think about the previous post . 2 people you and the bartender make up a drink lets just say it is called "green monster" then how does it go from that bar to the next, from that state to the next, from now to then and then everybody seems to know of it and are drinking it?????
Seriously we have something here how does it travel so far so fast???
SOMEBODY please answer this. ANYONE? WHY? Then I can apply this principle to sales and increase my output. "Thoughts are things what you think about most you become." |

| Posted 8 months ago I'm with Win5300 on this topic. I got tired of the hangovers too. For me, there was a direct correlation to severity & length of a "hangover", and Father Time chipping away at me. So, I just gave it up, this year, as a New Year's Resolution. Having said that, if I were to "re-check my vital signs", a glass of red wine sounds appetizing. My Bevving Heavy days are behind me. I have a soon-to-be 10 year old son, and I'm very focused on him and his baseball, so the quitting part wasn't hard at all. I must say though, I had some cravings, but they, like everything else, pass with time. I also would wake up for a period of time, feeling hungover, say on a Saturday Morning, because my wife and I drank on the weekends. That was a little odd. Haven't been dry enough yet to completely feel the physical effects, but I'm pressing on and abstaining. Its kind of funny, too, because "drinking" is so prevalent at Company Functions, as such. I've even heard the saying, "I don't trust the guy who DOESN'T DRINK". I guess I'm THAT GUY now. Fun fun fun. |

| Posted 8 months ago moderation is what it is called. Do not drink all night. I start out with ice tea or coke until about midnight then I start the slammin.Hang overs are caused by limes and lemmons by the way How drinks start and fly across the country. If a person goes to one bar they go to ten. Each new drink the bartender normally takes a small taste to see if it may be a drink they can give to a person who asks for someing special. Here we have tourists. They get a drink and ask for the recipe. They take it home with them and there it goes off like a bad reputation. I am having a mexican snowshoe as we speak. This drink will last about 2 hours. I will chill it a couple of times with crushed ice. We moved from ohio to florida and I have given quite a few drink specals to the local clubs in town. The clubs we belong to will have drink night specials with special pricing for the shots. WOOHOO. The time is now to grow and learn as much as possible. | Posted 8 months ago That's good advice Rich, from one Floridian to another. 3 years ago when I had the pool, and I was on one of my barstools IN THE POOL, I'd sit and have a drink called a "Pain n the ass". Which is half Pina Colada and half Rumrunner. Naturally with a Meyers float down the straw for effect. I would sit back and watch the sunsets through the silouhette of 3 Royal Palm Trees....... those were the days. Just going to the bank with a wheelbarrow, and rompin it up at night in my backyard, which looked like a scene out of Scarface. It was decadence at its finest. Seems like a dream now........have to reivent myself again..........amazing. I know its a new opportunity, but come on, I did not need this latest 2-year setback!!!!! And see, drinking for me, is supposed to be celebratory, if you will. And there's just not a whole lot to be celebrating right this moment. I know, you can think of a million ways to drum up for celebrating, but you guys know what I mean.

| Posted 8 months ago Happy St Pats everyone. I am sipping on a nice brandy and diet pepsi. No green beer this time. I had a strong beer today thou. It was at an irish pub. It was called a Kelt lifter. It was a beer with some Irish whiskey blended in. You could taste it. The family took in the St Pats parade in Milwaukee. Good tradition. |
