Gettin' ready to get in the car and take the five minute ride to the big show.

You know, I can't help thinkin' all this Pittsburgh hype is gonna be pretty flat by the end of the game.

It's just happened way too many times before.

Chris Collingsworth just said Warner was the best player on the field and he's gonna have a great day, giving the Red Birds the higher score.

Let's compare notes when this thing is over.

I was almost right, the Cards almost won.

Pit won the game in an unbelievably glorious fashion, as deep as you can get in their own territory. But Ben pulled it off, while the Cards defense let down.

Pit did not make the point spred, however. So, if you bet on the game, you lost.

But, the Steelers are the first (and looking at the current Cowboys), probably the only team for a very long time to have six of those trophies.

SF & Dallas have five.

SF doesn't look like they're gonna have another chance for a very long time and Dallas....     well?

(Maybe without Romo?)

think we should stay on the Steelers.....

two critical calls that made this a close game.

Roethlisbergers Knee - I don't think it was down, he was on top of his line man who was pulling him into the end zone.

The Safety?????  I never heard of that rule.....HOlding in the endzone.....C'mon.

Holding is a SEVERE penalty. It gives a very unfair advantage to the holder. This isn't wrestling (or hockey, for that matter), it's football. There's a reason it's called blocking. Blocking takes skill, speed, quickness, strength and technique. Anyone can hold.

It costs ten yards and loss of down. There are no yards in the end zone. There has to be a penalty. If there were no penalty for holding in the end zone, they'd hold until the got the ball away.

The 14 point swing on the last play of the 1st half cost Arizona the game.  I don't recall seeing 1 person cause a 14 point swing singlehandedly before.  It was amazing!  He looked like he had passed out at the end of his run on the 100 yard interception.

What an interesting topic and one that I wish I could relate to a little more. According to my husband I need to relax more but it is a very difficult thing for me to do I have to admit.

I LOVE Chateau St. Michelle- This is a Reisling (white wine) and goes down a little too smooth sometimes. I also enjoy Menage E' Trois. So when I decide to indulge and relax this is what I opt for typically.

Bldg, yeah that one interception by Warner at the end of the half probably cost the Cards the game.

Their momentum was utterly destroyed going into the locker room for halftime.

Although, if their defense could've (AND should've) held them in their own end zone, the outcome would've been different, as well.

control the last two minutes of the first half and game usually  says your the winner.

Thank god they have replay as the game might have been a blowout. The first drive of the game would have resulted in a touchdown. The Cardinals had two calls overturned both huge. One stopped a td the other  alloud the cardinals to regain possession of teh ball and not give it up on the 50.

The interception was a great  defensive call. Imagine if the Cardinals had a back in motion to that side  they would have scored as Harrison could not jump the route.By putting the back in motion to the opposite side alloud that play to happen as it did.Luck or skill. The coach has skills to know the game and how it was going to be called at that point.

The holding call in the end zone was a good call.

For a linebacker to run the length of the field and score, that's what dreams and bad movies are made of.

He's still catching his breath -  i think they gave him a pillow down there when he finally was in the end-zone...

Did you see when they offered him oxygen.....It was really funny....

He steam rolled - zigged and zagged...I was surprised, I picked Palamlu for having a big interception. Never would have thought it would be Harrison..But really I don't care...The Steelers win.

Welcome to Sixburgh, as they are saying on the news.

I bet he is on his living room floor still lying there grining and ready to pass out.  Can't imagine the amount of adrenelin after a 100 yard run at superbowl.

You may want to be a little more careful. A lot of people aren't aware that "Menage E' Trois" is a wine.

You ARE referring to the wine, aren't you? (LOL)

what about Scotch?

In the summer I always enjoy Scoth on the Deck with a nice cigar?   I don't know if that's Big Dog or Big Mouth - Aren't we in a time where people can just enjoy what they like and not have to fit a mold...Who cares if some one is the Big Dog  - Little Chiwowa, or a worker Bee.

I think War said it Best - Can't we all be freinds?

LarryGrimes says ...

> "Can I have a Baybreeze P'weeze"

No pwobwem.

Actually, for those that don't drink much and want to imbibe, be somwhat healthy. Almost anything with fruit juice would be proper.

And, don't forget the umbrella!

Larry - I ordered a Baybreeze P'Weeze last night.  And guess what THERE WAS A PWOBWEM.  The barman didn't know how to make one.  So I've given that one up and Im now looking for something new to try.  Suggestions p'weeze!

As a bartender ... I mix plenty of these drinks....

My doctor said.... I got good news and bad news.  The good news is you can drink for the rest of your life... And the bad news?  It won't be long...

So nowadays, it's the Diet Coke in the original poll and Sugar Free Red Bull...
