| Posted 8 months ago A lot has been said here and I think Anna nails it. You need to mix it up. Find mentors. Read books and websites. Learn from your wins and your losses. Take courses. Find and interact with targeted social media- SalesHQ. Listen. "You can have everything... if you will just help enough other people." -Zig jack@pariseau-marketing.com

| Posted 7 months ago Though trainings, mentor and seminars are equally imporatnat but all these are nothing if you wont apply all these things practicals. When i starated my career, started as a sales coordinator but just because of my own efforts and daily experience i have touched this position. but still i learn from my daily experiences. Everyday comes with a new learning. So you are the best mentor, best trainer for yourself. Noone can guide youm, noone can judge better than yourself. Your experience is youyr degree and your certificate. |

| Posted 7 months ago I think Jack and I float the same boat on this one. I have learned so much more through experience, than I ever had thru any training. The training for me was just a way of me being able to put myself in check, to make sure I am not leaving anything out. Mentoring, and reading all that you can get your hands on is great! |

| Posted 7 months ago Lori would you agree that training has allowed you to ask the questions of yourself and others to become a better sales professional? Granted practical experience is the majority of all sales professionals knowledge however without the training and mentors you would have no idea what to look for ,how to change and what to say. As you gain experience the way,you handle questions, concerns and objections from clients, stems from the basic knowledge that was received from training .Tweaked from time to time by practical experience to fit your basic needs to become the sales professional you have become? It is easy to make the statement most everything is learned frome xperience however that experience came from mentors and or training to become the sales professional. I know that I have always had the ability to sell however I received proper training that taught me not only to sell but to discover more needs. Fidning these needs also have generated far more additional sales with the original sales and a much higher closing rate. What the trainign inspired in me to never stop learning. What I found I became my own trainer with my drive and will to become the best at what I am presently doing. Now I train myself, talk to my mentors, network with other sales professionals to tweak my knowledge. Constant training. This is all part of my overall experience. The time is now to grow and learn as much as possible. Take action and responsibility for your actions
