hmmm, I think the "Secret" is you should read books and absorb whatever enthusiasm you can from them.  Keep your mind open and not get sucked into conforming to looking into one light.  If the Secret is the one I am thinking of I would recommend not using it as a dictionary for your future.  Is this the article your talking about:

As far as I am concerned, "the law of attraction", is how good you are at selling yourself and what steps you take to be great at what you do.  You must build confidence and learn to turn the cheek the other way and not take critisms from your clients personally.  I think you should maybe look at networking a bit more, perhaps you can collect real life experiences instead of hypothetical ones.  Its great to feel positive about being rich one day, but truth hurts, you must WORK for it.  The only people that get rich over night are LOTTO winners literally.
