| Posted 13 days ago I always say, "it takes a personality to do what we do". It is something beyond making money, talking to people, or being able to wear nice shoes everyday. A salesman just wants you on his team. Maybe it's an insecurity or a void that needs to be satisfied. I don't know, but I love it. I work with plenty of different types of people. We all have a common denominator. It's so obvious, but I still can't put my finger on what it is. |

| Posted 13 days ago I once heard that you will develop the traits and personality required to succeed in sales by the time your 6. Sales is a rough business, we have an extremely high failure rate (100% commission, in the car industry, a lot of sales people don't make it) In fact we loose about 80% of the sales people that work for us within the first year. So we like to joke "We are tougher then the Navy Seals, they only got a 75% drop out rate" But your right, all sales people have something about them, which is so similiar, and we can all relate too yet I can't seem to put my finger on it either. |
