Was that a great first weekend of exciting football? College and professional football ruled this weekend.

There were great games that hinged on having the ball last. We had rookie and freshman quarterbacks playing better than they have in the past. They guided their teams to victory and astonishing finishes.

We saw teams that were prepared to play the full time limits and some that wished the game would step two minutes before the time limit. We had one of the greatest quarterbacks have a comeback win due to a team’s inability to finish and know the game.

We had fast risers that faded and we had teams that no one expected to be competitive almost pull out the tight game. There was luck and there was experience that played key roles with winning and losing the game.

All in it was a good weekend

I loved the hitting, the games I saw, people were knocking the snot out of each other, both of my NFL teams lost, Buffalo and Chicago, they both should have won!
