| Posted about 1 month ago Rosemary - Thanks for the invite. And on Healthcare reform you're right. If I am indigent, or an illegal alien, the hospital picks up the cost. I went to the emergency room for four stiches to a cut finger. (I'm a former Boy Scout, and only went when the bleeding would not stop after many hours). The bill was 1,100.00 for four stiches, no shots, or anything else. My insurance (paid through me and my employer) paid 40.00 of the bill. My girlfriend has individual insurance. She had a gall bladder operation. The insurance paid 1,600.00 of a 15,000.00. bill. We knew of someone with no insurance, and they paid nothing for the same operation. |

| Posted about 1 month ago Pandora - I sold insurance when I first got out of college for a number of years. I have never seen an industry where there were so many people touted as "experts" who knew absolutely nothing (or almost) about what they were selling. Talk about an industry that needs a truth in advertising watchdog, and this would be the first one I'd mention. When one of my bosses and I (one of the few ethical people I knew in the industry) would compete against another company making wild promises, we would say, "That's really a great benefit. If you can get them to agree to everything you've said in writing, on a letter signed by an officer of the company you've got a great deal." Of course they never would. I have started to believe that the big insurance companies are not unlike Vegas casinos. Everything favors "the house". |

| Posted about 1 month ago I heard today;I was in sales and I know what you are doing. LOL made me chuckle. I then preceeded to show them what they have receive with what they have paid for in the past by showing the horrible workmanship they have received in the past with cheap work. All I had to state if you want quality work you get me if you want what you have had in the past thanks for allowing me the pleasure to talk with you. I am trying to type with the male greyhound pushing my fingers. The time is now to grow and learn as much as possible. Take action and responsibility for your actions

| Posted about 1 month ago Last week the mail man came to work and I had to sign for a document. I signed the digital recorder and he asked for my first initial. I said "L as in Lola, La La La La Lola" he said "Thanks, now I'll be singing that all day!". This week comes and I have to sign for something again. He laughed and said "Lori" I will never forget your name. lol |
