Posted 3 months ago What Trends or Hip / Cool things do you NOT get or understand? One for me, is the new "skinny man" look with clothes as tight as possible. I though skinny was out once we invented food.?? |

| Posted 3 months ago There are a ton of things I do not get when we consider trends of the young. The same happened when I was younger. I must accept the trend as an expression and choose how I want to deal with it. Music trends scare the hell out of me however I grew up where disco entered the world forever changing the climate of music. The time is now to grow and learn as much as possible. | Posted 3 months ago Well, when my 9 year old sees a guy walking through the mayo aisle and says "That guy needs to pull up his pants" and his pants are below his butt then I have to wonder........ Yeah some of what is called "music" nowdays?????? HarrietAlison

| Posted 3 months ago Yeah, the whole underwear hanging out above the pants is just wrong as well. Baggy and below the butt is everywhere and I so don't get it. |

| Posted 3 months ago I watch Judge Mathis. Well, I did when I was unemployed. He said that the pants pulled down is a prison thing. Males had their pants down like that as a sexual thing. I can't remember his exact words. But the thing is this generation does things that they have no idea why it was started. They just follow the trend. And I like the music today. I listen to what my daughter listens to. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy my southern hard rock and enjoy the classical music when in the mood. I still see the gothic look. Black hair, pale white skin, and tatoo's. What is up with that? Or the totally tatooed person. I think a cute or meaningful tatoo is cool but the all over tatoo? |

| Posted 3 months ago definitely the fashion expression some of the younger generation I don't get......I like most types of music, but some things today I don't get....of course when I think that I sound like my parents when I was a kid....LOL |

| Posted 3 months ago When I think about what is in fashion now, I sometimes shake my head. However, I do have to remind myself that I was in High School in the 80's and I did sometimes wear some crazy stuff. |

| Posted 3 months ago Tazi I love visiting Gothic pubs. I love the way the kids express themselves. I love the music and its intensity especially LOUD. I love the way they express with the dancing. However I could not do Gothic myself tan ,blonde,thinning hair LOL A fish out of water. I get the music it is the same when I was young.
