Posted 8 months ago I apologize for taking so long to get this info posted. I'll try to post a picture of the package later. The folder is an Oxford Executive Portfolio. I originally used maroon, but have switched to blue because it looks more professional. It has a gold highlight surrounding a business card slot. I include my job search business card on the front of the portfolio. Inside the folder has 2 pockets. On the left side I have my cover letter, personality profile summary, and references. On the right side, I have my resume and letter of recommendation. I get the portfolios at Staples for just under $8.00 for a pack of 4, I use Avery Clean Break Business cards, and ivory or white resume paper for all of the printed material.

| Posted 8 months ago Hey guys listen to this. I used to present my presentation to my clients on white paper. I always ask after the sale a coupleof questions from my client. 1. how did you enjoy the presentation? 2. How was the process was it enjoyable? 3. What did you like about the presentation paper? I used white paper for the presentation paper. The majority of the clients complained about the white paper being to bright. In some cases the clients complained that it was to difficult to the flow as it was to bright and blinded them. I switched to manilla paper and I have no had one complain about the paper being to bright. The second plus I receive additional sales at a much higher rate with the manilla paper. Granted the paper alone does not create the additional sales however it makes it easier for them to read and follow. The time is now to grow and learn as much as possible. | Posted 8 months ago Rich, thanks for that post. I'll have to buy another box of resume paper, probably next week. I was undecided on whether to go with white or ivory. I'll stick with ivory. . . . Ivory color that is. I'm not out killing elephants and printing my resume on their tusks.

| Posted 8 months ago I love ivory paper, it looks professional. I used to work in a legal office. So sweet is ivory paper.
Oh, paper don't forget comes in different brightness. So maybe an unbleached paper can be used. I know Staples does have something like that in Canada. But hey, maybe the States isn't as blessed as us wonderful Canadians. lol |

| Posted 8 months ago I have been using the standard white. I'll check out ivory. One of my former colleagues used bright green and bring orange. He got attention but only 1 follow up. I would stay away from bright. |

| Posted 8 months ago I like both but sometimes if I am using water marks white stands out better. "Thoughts are things what you think about most you become." |
