About Me
We are all sales people to some degree as I used to tell my employee's at the two companies I previously owned. Sales is about developing long term relationships and servicing your client base. I started out in sales after graduation from college and sold in the eleven western states. In 1987, I started my own business installing garage doors. You had to sell builders a product, sectional garage doors, in a market, Southern California, where less expensive one-piece wood doors were used by the major builders. We were successful because we knew there was a demand due to many people moving to California from the East Coast and had never seen a inferior one-piece garage door. After successful launching that company, I formed a manufacturing company to manufacture garage doors and selling to installing dealers and wholesalers and international sales. In short, my entire career has been sales.
